What is Pretty Ballerinas?

Pretty Ballerinas is a luxury Spanish footwear brand born in Minorca, the birthplace of fine leather shoemaking. Founded by the Mascaró family, Pretty Ballerinas specialises in handcrafted ballet flats, loafers, boots and bags made with premium leathers and artisanal expertise.

In the UAE, our boutiques are located at Dubai Mall, Dubai Hills Mall and Yas Mall Abu Dhabi, as well as The Avenues Mall in Kuwait. You can also shop online at prettyballerinas.ae.

What does Pretty Ballerinas sell?

We offer an extensive range of women's footwear including ballet flats, loafers, moccasins, boots, sandals and heels — all crafted in Spain from premium materials. We also carry a curated selection of leather bags and accessories. New collections are launched each season.

How are prices shown on the website?

All prices on prettyballerinas.ae are displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of VAT at 5%. No hidden fees are added at checkout.

Do you have physical stores in the UAE?

Yes — we have three boutiques in the UAE:

What types of products do you sell?

We sell a full range of women's footwear — ballet flats, loafers, moccasins, sandals, boots, heels and sneakers — as well as leather bags and accessories. Our products are designed in Spain and handcrafted in our Minorca workshop using premium leathers, suedes and exotic materials.

Is there a size guide?

Yes. Our shoes are sized in European sizing (EU). General guide:

EU 35 = UK 2.5 / US 5
EU 36 = UK 3.5 / US 6
EU 37 = UK 4 / US 6.5
EU 38 = UK 5 / US 7.5
EU 39 = UK 6 / US 8.5
EU 40 = UK 7 / US 9
EU 41 = UK 7.5 / US 9.5

Pretty Ballerinas shoes fit true to size. If between sizes, we recommend sizing up. For advice contact contact@prettyballerinas.ae.

The product I want is out of stock — what can I do?

Use the "Notify me" button on the product page to receive an email when it's back. You can also contact us at contact@prettyballerinas.ae or visit one of our UAE boutiques — in-store stock may differ from online.

How do I care for my Pretty Ballerinas shoes?

For leather styles: wipe with a soft dry cloth and use a leather conditioner occasionally. Avoid prolonged water exposure.
For suede styles: use a suede brush and apply a water-repellent spray.

Store in the original box or a dust bag away from direct sunlight.

Are your materials sustainable?

Pretty Ballerinas uses premium European leathers from certified tanneries. Our production is based in Minorca, Spain, with a strong artisan tradition. A well-made shoe built to last is our best contribution to sustainability.

How do I place an order?

1. Browse and select your product and size.
2. Click "Add to Cart".
3. Review your cart and click "Checkout".
4. Enter your delivery address and select your payment method.
5. Confirm — you will receive an order confirmation email immediately.

What happens once my order is confirmed?

You receive an order confirmation email immediately. Once dispatched, you receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. Orders placed before 2:00 PM UAE time on a working day are processed the same day.

How can I check the status of my order?

Use the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email. If you need help, contact us at contact@prettyballerinas.ae with your order number.

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Contact us immediately at +971 50 450 6572 or contact@prettyballerinas.ae. We process orders quickly and will do our best to help before dispatch.

I have not received my order confirmation email.

Check your spam or junk folder first. If you still cannot find it, contact us at contact@prettyballerinas.ae with your name and the email used at checkout.

Buy Now Pay Later: Tabby — split into 4 interest-free payments
Cash on Delivery (COD): available within the UAE

All card payments are processed securely via Shopify's SSL-encrypted gateway.

Is it safe to pay on prettyballerinas.ae?

Yes. Our site uses SSL encryption and all transactions go through Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant system. We do not store your card details. Look for the padlock icon in your browser's address bar.

How does Tabby work?

Tabby splits your purchase into 4 interest-free payments. Select Tabby at checkout, complete a quick approval, and pay the first instalment immediately. The remaining 3 are charged automatically every 2 weeks. No fees if you pay on time.

Can I pay Cash on Delivery?

Yes — COD is available for UAE deliveries. Please have the exact amount ready upon delivery. COD may not be available for very high-value orders.

Is shipping free?

We offer free standard shipping above a minimum order threshold. For orders below this, a flat fee applies — visible at checkout before payment.

How long does delivery take?

UAE: 2–3 working days
Kuwait, Qatar, Oman: 3–5 working days

Orders before 2:00 PM UAE time on a working day are processed the same day. Weekend and public holiday orders are processed the next working day.

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship to the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman. If you are outside these countries, visit prettyballerinas.com to find your local store.

How can I track my delivery?

Once dispatched, you receive a tracking link by email. If you have not received it within 24 hours of your order confirmation, contact contact@prettyballerinas.ae.

My order has not arrived — what do I do?

Check your tracking link first. If there are no updates for more than 48 hours, contact us at contact@prettyballerinas.ae or call +971 50 450 6572.

Can I return or exchange my order?

We accept exchanges within 14 days of purchase. Items must be:

· Unworn and in original condition
· In their original box with all packaging
· Accompanied by proof of purchase

Sale items are non-exchangeable.

How do I initiate an exchange?

Email us at contact@prettyballerinas.ae with your order number. You can also bring your item directly to any UAE boutique:

How long does a refund take?

Once we receive and verify your return, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. The time to appear in your account may vary by bank or payment provider.

My item arrived damaged — what do I do?

Contact us immediately at contact@prettyballerinas.ae with photos and your order number. We will resolve this at no extra cost.

How to obtain a VAT invoice for your purchase.

Can I get a VAT invoice?

Yes. Your order confirmation email serves as proof of purchase. For a formal VAT-compliant invoice, email us at contact@prettyballerinas.ae with your order number, company name, TRN (if applicable) and address. We will issue it within 2 working days.

Is VAT included in displayed prices?

Yes. All prices on prettyballerinas.ae include 5% UAE VAT. The breakdown is visible at checkout and in your order confirmation email.

All purchases are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. In case of dispute, the courts of the Emirate of Dubai shall have jurisdiction.

What happens in cases of force majeure?

Pretty Ballerinas UAE shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control — natural disasters, strikes, supply disruptions, government restrictions or carrier delays. We will communicate with affected customers as promptly as possible.

How is my personal data handled?
